The 2nd edition of the book "Community Medicine with Recent Advances" by AH Suryakantha is indeed a wonderful textbook. The subject matter has been appropriately presented with use of lucid language & comprehensive self-explanatory illustrations & flow charts. Apt topics like KMC, MDR-TB, Revised policy of RNTCP amongst others have been incorporated & many relevant topics have been updated. There is a balanced distribution of different subject areas. It will be a useful reference textbook not only for UG students but also teachers & doctors. It was a pleasurable experience to read & review this book.
